This artwork chronicles the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby.Constructed from the official program of the Kentucky Derby, the past performances list the complete order of finish for The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports.This artwork commemorates an incredible photo finish by Mystik Dan who won by a nose at odds of 19:1 edging out Sierra Leone and Forever Young.With this body of artwork, I hope to preserve the story of America’s oldest sport and celebrate what connects us.
